Our vision is to help all students develop the world class skills and life characteristics of the Profile of the South Carolina Graduate by providing high quality teaching and a challenging curriculum where all students can be successful.

On Saturday, May 25th, 2024, the School District of Oconee County will honor a total of 657 graduates at commencement ceremonies at each high school. The district is proud to announce the Class of 2024 valedictorians and salutatorians.

In preparation for next school year, we wanted to remind families that SC law requires students to have certain vaccinations to attend school. Per state law, students will not be allowed to attend school until all required vaccines are received or an exemption form is submitted.

The School District of Oconee County will provide two options for summer meals for students in Oconee County. Meals are available for children 18 years old and younger, or 21 years of age and younger for a child with disabilities. Children do not have to be enrolled with the School District of Oconee County to receive meals.  Details on each program are available on the district homepage or by visiting

Applications are now being accepted for school choice for the 2024-2025 school year.   More details and the application can be found on the Enroll link on the district and all school websites.  Please note: Students' birthdate and student ID numbers will be required to apply.

Any parent wishing to apply for school choice for an incoming kindergarten student will be able to do so during   Kindergarten Pre-registration which  opens on Monday, March 4th.  

School Choice applications will be accepted through Friday, June 7th..
